Metronidazole ABR 250 mg film-coated tablets

Metronidazole ABR belongs to a group of medicines called imidazole antibacterials. It works by destroying bacteria and parasites that cause infections in your body.

Metronidazole ABR is used for:
– Treating infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, genital tract, pelvic area, stomach and intestines;
– Treating gum ulcers and other dental infections;
– Treating infected leg ulcers and pressure sores (injuries to the skin and underlying tissue caused mainly by prolonged pressure on the skin);
– Preventing infections after surgery;
– Preventing and treating infections due to anaerobic bacteria (bacteria that can survive in the absence of oxygen).
