BetazonTrio 0.500 mg/g+10 mg/g+1 mg/g cream (INN: Betamethasone / Clotrimazole / Gentamicin) belongs to the group of Dermatological agents, corticosteroids in combination with antibiotics. Topical betamethasone exhibits rapid, continuous and pronounced anti-inflammatory, anti-pruriginous and vasoconstrictive effects. The presence of fluorine in its chemical structure intensifies its anti-inflammatory activity, the latter being almost 30 times higher than this of hydrocortisone; the product does not exhibit mineralocorticoid activity. When topically used, it does not result in delayed healing of skin lesions. Clotrimazole has a broad-spectrum anti-mycotic activity. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with a bactericidal type of action. As an antibacterial agent, it exhibits high efficacy. Its antibacterial activity is higher than these of neomycin and kanamycin.

Description/Indications:
BetazonTrio cream is a combined medicinal product intended for topical application to the skin. The corticosteroid betamethasone contained in the product reduces redness, swelling, relieves itching due to its expressed anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action. The antibiotic gentamicin effectively kills a great number of microorganisms that cause infections in humans, including skin infections. Clotrimazole in turn has a strong antifungal activity.
BetazonTrio cream is used for the treatment of different types of skin inflammation (dermatitis and eczema) suitable for corticosteroid therapy, with developed infection manifested by redness, irritation and deterioration in condition.
