Ciprofloxacin ABR eye and ear drops, solution (INN: ciprofloxacin) is an anti-infectious medicinal product of the second-generation fluoroquinolone group. It has a broad antibacterial spectrum and activity against a great number of the microorganisms causing eye and/or ear infections. It is suitable for the treatment of superficial infections of the eye and adjacent tissues (conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcers, etc.), as well as acute external or middle ear inflammation with secretion, due to tympanic membrane perforation.

Nature and contents of container: White plastic of 5 ml, equipped with a dropper applicator and closed by a screw cap with protective ring.

Description/Indications:
Ocular use: the product is used in adults, newborns (0 - 27 days of age), breast-fed children and infants (28 days - 23 months of age), children (2 - 11 years of age) and adolescents (12 - 16 years of age) for the treatment of corneal ulcers and superficial infections of the eye and its appendages, caused by ciprofloxacin-susceptible bacterial strains.
Auricular use: the product is used in adults and children over 1 year of age for the treatment of acute external otitis and middle ear inflammation with secretion, due to tympanic membrane perforation, caused by ciprofloxacin-susceptible bacterial strains.
